About The Trust
The Nehalem Trust is a member of the Land Trust Alliance, a national organization that provides leadership and resources to its members. The Trust follows the Alliance's Standards and Practices, which help ensure that land trusts operate legally and ethically. They provide a firm foundation for Trust operations. For more information, visit the Land Trust Alliance web site at www.lta.org. Governance and management of the Trust is provided by a knowledgeable Board and Staff. The board meets monthly to develop policy guidance for Trust activities. All of our policies and procedures are developed within the context of the Trust's Mission and Goals. and the Alliance's Standards and Practices. The Trust's 2007-08 objectives can be downloaded by clicking here. The Trust's Service Area is the Lower Nehalem River/Neahkahnie Mountain region on the northern Oregon coast.
