How You Can Help

As a Volunteer

.

Volunteers are at the core of all of our programs. Volunteers tend our garden and greenhouse, plant treees and control invasive plants.  They provide guidance during our elementary school field trips.  Volunteer bird monitors help to determine the effectiveness of our restoration efforts. The stewardship committees that develop plans for the management of Alder Creek Farm and our Vosburg property are volunteers. The Trust Board which provides overall guidance to Trust activities is composed entirely of volunteers.   Volunteer opportunities can be found here.

A gift of land or a conservation easement

All of our protected lands and conservation easements are obtained through generous donations or from willing sellers. Outright gifts, discounted sales, bequests and many other innovative forms of giving can produce great benefits for land conservation while also offering significant tax savings and estate planning benefits.  See Donating Land section for more information. .

.

Whether as a member, donor, volunteer, or friend, we invite you to join us in the Trust’s important work of land protection.
