How You Can Help

Today we have an opportunity to determine the landscape for the next millennium. The Lower Nehalem Community Trust invites you to help us protect the scenic vistas, sparkling rivers and bays, and dense forests which define the northern coast of Oregon. It is up to us to ensure that the generations to come will continue to enjoy the quality of life that natural areas provide in our region.  Vosburg Trillium

The Lower Nehalem Community Trust is a member supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of natural lands in the Lower Nehalem Watershed - Neahkahnie Mountain Region of Oregon.

Our programs include land protection, stewardship, adult and youth education, community events, and a Coastal Food Ecology Center.

LIVING LOCALLY

September 20, 2008

The fundraising event, Living Locally, includes eco-activities in the afternoon, a locavore dinner consisting of food that is grown/produced within a 100-mile radius of Nehalem, and a silent auction.  The funds from the proceeds of this event will support Trust general operations, stewardship, and educational activities.

.

Your purchase of a $50 ticket includes participation in one activity (1:00 – 3:30), and the auction and dinner/guest speaker at the Pine Grove Center (5:00 – 8:00pm).  To purchase tickets, please contact the Lower Nehalem Community Trust by phone [503-368-3203] or email: lnct@nehalemtel.net

.

When you purchase a ticket, please register for an eco-activity or you may do so until September 15th, see eco-activities for details about each activity, then email: lnct@nehalemtel.net or phone (503) 368-3203 and provide the name of each participant and the selected activity.  LNCT Coordinator, Kimberly Tanner, will confirm your selection.
